12 Capítulo 12

POV NARRADOR

Finalmente tinha chegado a hora do glee club e Rachel, Puck e Finn iriam se apresentar, mas antes foi o Kurt e Blaine, que cantaram “American Boy”. Depois disso, Rachel sentou ao piano, Finn na bateria e Puck na guitarra, e começaram.

Finn (Rachel):

Picture perfect memories scattered all around the floor

Reaching for the phone 'cause I can't fight it anymore

(And I wonder if I ever cross your mind)

For me it happens all the time

Finn e Rachel olhavam um para o outro até Puck perceber e se colocar entre eles, tapando a visão de um para o outro. E então eles olharam para o resto do grupo.

Puck, Rachel e Finn:

It's a quarter after one

I'm all alone and I need you now

Said I wouldn't call, but I've lost all control and I need you now

And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you now

Puck, ainda entre os dois, olhou para Rachel e cantou.

Puck (Rachel):

Another shot of whiskey, can't stop looking at the door

Wishing you'd come sweeping in the way you did before

(And I wonder if I ever cross your mind)

For me it happens all the time

Puck, Rachel e Finn:

It's a quarter after one

I'm a little drunk and I need you now

Said I wouldn't call, but I've lost all control and I need you now

And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you now

Enquanto Puck fazia o solo de guitarra mais para a frente, Rachel e Finn olhavam um para o outro, mas logo foi interrompido por Puck novamente se colocando entre os dois.

Rachel:

Guess I'd rather hurt than feel nothing at all

It's a quarter after one

I'm all alone and I need you now

Puck:

And I said I wouldn't call, but I'm a little drunk and I need you now

Finn:

And I don't know how I can do without, I just need you now

Rachel:

Oh baby, I need you now....

Já no final da música, Rachel cantava intercalando os olhares entre Puck e Finn, involuntariamente.

Quando terminou, eles receberam os aplausos e Mr. Schue disse:

– Parabéns! Vocês foram ótimos.

Rachel se sentou ao lado de Kurt e ele disse:

– Puck fez uma ótima interpretação.

– Só o Puck? – falei chateada.

– É. Você e o Finn já estão apaixonados, mas o Puck interpretou.

O sinal tocou e todos saíram menos Rachel, que foi impedida por Kurt que disse:

– Eu descobri quem é o dono do perfume que estava na sua cama.
